I had a great experience with Micro Center and their customer service truly stood out. I purchased a PowerSpec gaming PC this past December, and recently started having issues with the system fans. The intake and exhaust fans were pulsing on and off like they were “breathing,” and eventually the radiator fans stopped spinning altogether. After trying everything I could, I scheduled a service appointment and made the drive from Milwaukee to the Westmont, IL store. When I arrived, I was told there would be about a 24-hour turnaround just to diagnose the issue, which meant another long trip later in the week. Not ideal, but understandable. Since I had come a long way, I politely asked if there were any other options and requested to speak with a manager. The associate was incredibly helpful and quickly connected me with one. As I explained my situation, his leader happened to be right there—and that’s when things turned around in the best way. They offered me a full system swap on the spot. Honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better solution. Since I hadn’t made any major customizations, it was a perfect outcome and saved me a ton of time and hassle. This was my second visit to Micro Center, and both times the customer service has been exceptional. They genuinely make you feel like you’ve got a friend working there who’s got your back. It’s rare to see a team go this far above and beyond, and it definitely won’t be my last visit. I’d love to see a Micro Center in the Milwaukee area someday—there’s clearly a demand for this level of service closer to home.

Always fun to visit Micro Center. They have excellent collection of computers, peripherals, and other electronics. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. You can spend hours looking at stuff. They even price matched a Lego set for us.

Just the absolute best place around for tech products. Everyone is helpful, knowledgeable, and nice. I drive past a few Best Buys every time I come here. Worth it.

Well, Fry’s is gone as are many other places, but MicroCenter endures! What a place to geek out for electronics. My grandson — unaware of any predecessors — thought this was the biggest PC store ever. But what actually impresses me more than quantity is quality. Liquor center has that. Put it in context — look on Reddit. You’ll see people willing to pay a premium to be close to the store.

Micro center and the staff are great! Super friendly and organized. Staff is super knowledgeable and helped my son pick out a graphics card that was better than he was looking for for the same price, even took time to explain what the differences were and answered any questions my son had! Would absolutely recommend them 10 out of 10 times!

Was helped by Alyssa and Kristjan. Both were very personable and impressed by their quality of service knowing it was a traffic heavy Sunday. Kristjan helped with a return and was super quick and friendly, in addition with finding my needs of what may work for me instead. Alyssa handled a long line of people well while still being personable and offering all services to me that can better my post purchasing experience. There was a sales rep too I believe their name is Zavala according to my receipt who did not hesitate to provide assistance and provided me suggestions to make use of my store credit. Very satisfied experience! :)

I had an absolutely phenomenal experience at Micro Center. I brought in my defective iPad to process a replacement through AppleCare, and I can genuinely say this was one of the smoothest and most efficient customer service experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the moment I walked in, the entire process was handled with professionalism, speed, and attention to detail. The manager and staff were incredibly welcoming, patient, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire experience. They took the time to assist me, answered questions clearly, and made what could have been a stressful situation feel effortless. The location itself was extremely clean, organized, and well-maintained, and you could immediately notice how efficiently they manage customer service. The way they handled customers was impressive quick, respectful, and without making anyone feel rushed. Exceptional customer service has become rare these days, and this team truly set the standard. Huge thank you to the entire staff and management team for making the process so seamless. This is exactly how customer care should be done. Highly recommended!

Exceptionally good customer service. I came in 5 minutes before closing time and multiple staff members were willing to help me until 15 minutes after closing, including doing a parts installation for free. Huge stock of high quality computer parts and computers. I bought a pre-built PC, microphone, and SSD all from here. Pretty much a one-stop shop for any and all of your computer needs. Very friendly and helpful staff. I have nothing bad to say about this store, honestly. Wish them well and just wanted to say thank you from a very satisifed customer.
